PINK TEAM

A new shade of red teaming.

// mission

Security belongs to more people than the industry thinks.

Pink Team studies the forms of security people build before they are ever hired to do security: screening, boundary-setting, reputation management, platform survival, community warning systems, and risk assessment under pressure.

The industry has spent decades looking for expertise in the same places. We start somewhere else. With women, queer people, and others who learned to read risk through people long before anyone called it security.

Some of the best security practitioners don't know they're security practitioners yet. Pink Team exists to find them.

01 / Human-layer security

The most important attack surfaces are often human.

Trust, intimacy, reputation, coercion, identity, and the ways people are attacked through other people.

02 / Unconventional expertise

Security knowledge exists far beyond traditional cybersecurity careers.

We look for practitioners whose lives have taught them to screen, set boundaries, read people, and adapt under pressure.

03 / Pathways in

New entry points into security.

Pink Team is building a bridge for people the industry has overlooked. Even when they already understand risk better than many people trained to name it.

The future of security will require technical expertise. It will also require a deeper understanding of people.

Pink Team exists at that intersection.
